Explore the journey with Steve Jr. and I as we explore, discover, adventure, learn, grow together about what it means to have special needs and more importantly how not to be put in a box because of a label. Three years ago after I sat with my sons speech therapist and asked her what else we could do to improve our sons language and communication skills, she looked me straight in the eye and said: “nothing.” I started making it a routine to make sure I read to him every night. After we read books, I would sometimes make up stories for my son. He seemed very intrigued by my stories, so a light bulb went off in my head and I thought if he likes my stories maybe others will like my stories as well. It took me over 3 years to get the first story out. I tried partnering with someone to draw the images for the book. I finally decided to move it along by drawing my own images and self publishing on Amazon. It’s now available for sale for only $0.99. It’s a quick fun read for children about accepting people who are different. Please go check it out.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BDPBK9X/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_awdb_t1_oy.QAbK08YHN8
